Watch: Super Junior D&E Hits Up

Super Junior D&E, who is set to make their comeback with “Bout You” this week, appeared on the August 15 broadcast of MBC Every1’s “Weekly Idol.”

The duo’s comeback is their first in three years and five months, and Eunhyuk said, “We both went to the military, so our hiatus was pretty long. And it’s been a long time since we promoted in Korea, but we’ve been continuously promoting in Japan.”

Donghae and Eunhyuk tried their hands at various games and challenges, the first being a friendship game in which they had to move an apple, held between their foreheads, down to their hips without using their hands. Their first two attempts were busts, but in their third attempt, the pair completed the challenge in record time, having come up with a strategy beforehand.

Super Junior D&E then revealed 70 seconds of their “Bout You” performance on the show, ahead of their comeback. Donghae, who wrote the song, said that they wanted to try trap and hip hop, so it’s a different style than what they’ve done before.

Donghae and Eunhyuk also took on Weekly Idol’s double speed dance challenge with their debut “Oppa Oppa,” which was released in 2011. Though there were a few hiccups, the two successfully completed the challenge, showing the truly relaxed demeanor of idols 14 years in the business.

The duo, known for their love of soccer, then played a shootout game for prizes, with various targets set up inside soccer goalposts. After many attempts, the two members made amazing shots back to back, hitting their intended targets head on and making the MCs go wild.
