WJSN's Agency Confirms Mei Qi And Xuan Yi Will Promote With Rocket Girls And WJSN

WJSN’s Mei Qi and Xuan Yi will be active in both Rocket Girls and WJSN!

On August 17, WJSN’s agencies Yuehua Entertainment and Starship Entertainment issued an official statement confirming the new development.

Yuehua Entertainment stated, “In regards to Mei Qi and Xuan Yi’s future plans, we have miraculously come to an agreement with Tencent Entertainment to have both of them participate in both Rocket Girls and WJSN. Until now, Tencent had maintained that the two members would only be a part of Rocket Girls. Yuehua, for the sake of fans and parties from both countries that love Mei Qi and Xuan Yi, continued negotiations to come to today’s agreement.”

The official statement by Yuehua confirmed, “Mei Qi and Xuan Yi will rejoin the Rocket Girls in all its activities and work hard to produce great results. They will not leave WJSN and will continue to participate in all WJSN activities. We will communicate amicably and effectively with Tencent regarding the two members to provide them with bigger stages and opportunities.”

The news that Mei Qi and Xuan Yi will participate in Rocket Girls and WJSN was welcomed by Korean and Chinese fans that love both groups. It also has fans looking forward to near future activities.

The official statement released today has quelled the controversy surrounding Mei Qi and Xuan Yi after they came in first and second place on the Chinese adaptation of “Produce 101.”
