EXID's Hani Moved By Brother's Answer To What Kind Of Sister She Is

On the August 16 broadcast of JTBC4’s “Secret Sister,” EXID’s Hani set off to meet a new “sister.”

On the way, Hani said, “My goal today is to not seem clumsy. [I want to be someone who] opens jars really well, doesn’t spill things when eating, does everything well, and doesn’t lose things.” She added, “It’s already too late with the EXID members, but for [the person I’m meeting today], I want to be someone cool.”

Hani then called some people for advice. She first called her dad, who answered the phone in a sing-song voice and then misunderstood what Hani was saying, so the mission was aborted.

Hani tried again with her younger brother Ahn Tae Hwan. When she asked him what kind of “sister” he thinks she’s going to be, he said, “An unni that’s like a mom.” Hani burst out laughing, but was incredibly happy with the response, saying that it was the first good one she’d gotten.

Ahn Tae Hwan said, “There were a lot of times when our family wasn’t around [and it was just you and me], and you often took care of me like a parent.”

Hani was so surprised and moved, but then took a 180-degree turn and said proudly and matter-of-factly, “Of course. If that kind of situation arises, I take responsibility.”
