Han Chae Young and Sunmi successfully surprised Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Yeri at their concert!

On August 17, the reality program “Secret Sister” showed Seulgi and Yeri on the final day of Red Velvet’s concert “REDMARE,” which took place in Seoul on August 5.

Seulgi video-called Sunmi from her dressing room. She commented on Sunmi’s new hair color and introduced her to Yeri. Yeri asked, “She can’t come to the concert?” and Seulgi replied that she couldn’t.

Sunmi said, “I really, really wanted to go see the concert, but I just have to cheer you on over the phone. Do a good job today and I’ll call you again. Do a good job at your concert! Yeri, you too!”

Red Velvet put on great performances and successfully completed their concert. After the concert ended, the show’s staff explained to Seulgi and Yeri about their upcoming final interviews and walked with them to their dressing room.

Inside the dressing room were Sunmi and Han Chae Young who had secretly attended the concert! The program showed them watching the concert from their seats. They danced, clapped, and sang along to Red Velvet’s songs.

After the concert, they hid in the dressing room and brainstormed ideas on how to best surprise their partners. Seulgi and Yeri then opened the door and reacted in shock. Seulgi covered her mouth with her hand and Yeri shut the door before quickly opening it again.

Seulgi said to Sunmi, “You said you couldn’t come!” and walked inside. Sunmi and Han Chae Young gave warm hugs to their “Secret Sister” partners and told them how they watched their concert and cheered them on.
