Jung So Min Transforms Into Modern Day Career Woman In “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes”
Based on the popular 2002 Japanese drama of the same name, the story will tell the story of a dangerous murder suspect named Kim Moo Young (played by Seo In Guk) and a warm-hearted woman named Yoo Jin Gang (played by Jung So Min), who happen to share similar emotional scars.
In the released photos, Jung So Min has transformed into the lovely and charming Yoo Jin Gang. In one hand she’s holding a pen, and in the other hand she’s gripping onto her designer notebook. She seems completely focused on her work as she is talking to someone on the phone. Her expressions are gentle yet serious, and viewers are already anticipating her new character as a level-headed career woman. After the first filming, Jung So Min commented, “When I received the synopsis, one of Yoo Jin Gang’s lines was, ‘Every human is a blank slate at first. No one knows who they are themselves. Depending on what the people say around you, you can be a good person or a bad person,’ which left a big impression on me. I think Yoo Jin Gang is a person with strong personal values, and that is her greatest strength.”
“The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” will premiere on September 26 following the conclusion of “Familiar Wife.”
