Watch: Red Velvet Powers Up To Take On Double Speed Challenge On "Weekly Idol"

Red Velvet performed their latest hit “Power Up” at twice the speed!

The group appeared as guests on the August 22 episode of MBC every1’s “Weekly Idol,” and they were tasked with dancing to the song at double time. They were told that if they succeeded in one try, they’d all get the prize of an eye massaging device, while if they managed it on their second try, one member would receive a prize.

The members all got “powered up” to perform the dance and waited nervously for the music to start, but host Kim Shin Young kept dragging it out. Eventually Joy made everyone laugh when she yelled, “When does it start?!”

Once the game began, Red Velvet showed off their perfect synchronization and boundless energy throughout, and they wowed the hosts with their performance!
