“Music Bank” Cancels Arrival Photos For Artists This Week
Due to the possible effects of Typhoon Soulik, KBS2’s “Music Bank” will cancel arrival photos for tomorrow’s broadcast.
On August 23, representatives of “Music Bank” stated, “We will not allow arrival photos for artists on August 24 because of safety issues that might be affected by Typhoon Soulik.”
Every Friday at KBS Hall, artists who are appearing on that week’s filming of “Music Bank” are photographed on arrival. It originally used to be attended mostly by fans, but this event has become such a trademark that there is now a photo time for the press.
The normal “Music Bank” schedule will not be affected except for the omission of the artists’ arrival. It will air at its normal time tomorrow at 5 p.m. KST.
South Korea is preparing for the impact of Typhoon Soulik, which is forecasted to make landfall at the southwestern tip of the country early tomorrow morning and bring heavy rains and gusts of wind.
