BLACKPINK’s Rosé adorably mentioned her pet fish on tvN’s “Amazing Saturday”!

During the August 25 episode of the variety show, the cast attempted to guess the lyrics to the song “Between Yellow and Red” (literal translation) by Autumn Vacation. After Girl’s Day’s Hyeri pointed out that mixing yellow and red together creates orange, the cast tried to think of various orange objects that might be mentioned in the lyrics. Suddenly, Rosé happily cut in, “My pet fish’s name is Joo Hwang [the Korean word for orange].”

The entire cast burst into laughter at her cute remark. Rosé then affectionately described her one-year-old blood parrot cichlid, saying, “It’s smart. When I put my hand [in its tank], it comes to say hi.”

Host Boom suggested that she send a video message to her pet, and Rosé turned to the camera and said fondly, “Joo Hwang, how are you? Your name was mentioned here, so I thought of you. I miss you. See you soon.”

Hyeri commented that Rosé was cute, while SHINee’s Key remarked admiringly, “If someone else had said this, I feel like I wouldn’t have been able to accept it, but [Rosé] is a very unique character.”
