Watch: Im Soo Hyang And ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo Make Hearts Flutter In Making-Of Video For “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty”

JTBC’s “My ID is Gangnam Beauty” has released a making-of video of its ninth and tenth episodes!

The video began with Kwak Dong Yeon thanking viewers. Making a heart with his hands, he said, “Viewers who have been giving lots of love until now, thank you. If you could give lots of love to the remaining episodes, I will be even happier.”

He added, “The crew is working hard day and night and around the clock, while fighting heat and exhaustion,” and then applauded the staff members.

ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo spotted the camera and playfully dried his hair with a towel. He also just began yawning when he had to step out into the living room for his lines. The video also revealed Kwak Dong Yeon’s witty ad-libs which made Im Soo Hyang laugh after filming ended.

Cha Eun Woo said, “Viewers, we’re approaching the second half.” Kwak Dong Yeon added, “We passed the halfway mark.” The ASTRO member continued, “I ask for lots of your love until the end.”

Pretending to be a fan of the drama, Im Soo Hyang then said, “Hello. I’m Im Soo Hyang from the Yongsan District. Yeon Woo Young (Kwak Dong Yeon’s character) is so cool and I like the ‘gray-colored cat’ (nickname for Cha Eun Woo’s character from the webtoon) so much!”

The co-stars continued to show their close friendship on the set. When Kwak Dong Yeon signed off to the camera signaling that he was done filming for the day, Im Soo Hyang said, “I waited for you when I wanted to go.” Kwak Dong Yeon humorously replied, “Thank you senior. Thank you. I will go now following my senior.”

Im Soo Hyang and Cha Eun Woo then prepared to film the recycling scene where he surprises her by appearing behind her and catches her when she slips on a can. While rehearsing, she commented that he was too far away. He joked, “You have good waist strength, so you have to endure on your own here. That’s how a good scene will be created.”

When she actually leaned back on her own, he immediately reached out to help her. “You surprised me,” said Cha Eun Woo. In between scenes, he continued to show his playful side by having a “chicken fight” by himself and pretending to kick a can into the air.

“My ID is Gangnam Beauty” airs on Fridays and Saturdays at 11 p.m. KST. Check out the video below!
