New stills have been released for Seo In Guk’s character in the upcoming tvN drama “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes,” which is a remake of the 2002 Japanese drama of the same name.

“The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” is a mystery melodrama about a dangerous, free-spirited “monster” named Moo Young (Seo In Guk), who is suspected of murder, a woman named Jin Kang (Jung So Min), who has the same scars as Moo Young, and Jin Kang’s brother Jin Kook (Park Sung Woong), a detective who stands against Moo Young.

Describing his character, Seo In Guk said, “His emotional state is different from the normal person’s. The first impression I had of Moo Young was someone who’s not normal, but has an intense desire to be.” The actor explained that his character’s growth from someone who was ignorant of others’ emotions to someone who starts to feel and sympathize after meeting Jin Kang was what drew him to the character. He continued, “Our drama is a remake, and I hope that the fans of the original work will look at this drama in a different light.”

“The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” airs on September 26 at 9:30 p.m.
