NCT 127 And EXO’s Lay To Feature In First Single For Michael Jackson Tribute Project
Jerry Greenberg, the former president of Michael Jackson’s label MJJ Music and current head of 769 Entertainment, announced August 29 — Michael Jackson’s would-be 60th birthday — that his tribute project for the King of Pop is under way, and will be a four-part endeavor.
Four singles will be released over 10 months, with the first song, “Let’s Shut Up and Dance,” featuring Jason Derulo, NCT 127, and EXO’s Lay.
The project honors Michael Jackson’s immeasurable contributions to the world of dance as well as his celebration of diversity and inclusion through art, said Jerry Greenberg.
It was previously revealed that BTS and Luhan were also invited to participate in the project. However, BigHit announced that BTS would not be able to join due to their upcoming promotions and world tour. Whether or not Luhan will appear on the coming tribute singles remains to be seen.
