Watch: Kyle Hanagami Finally Meets Red Velvet, Picks His Favorite "Power Up" Move, And More
Red Velvet recently released a behind-the-scenes video of the members meeting Kyle Hanagami, an LA-based choreographer who has choreographed a slew of K-pop groups’ iconic dances.
In the clip, Kyle first introduces himself and lists the dances he’s choreographed for Red Velvet. These include “Be Natural,” “Ice Cream Cake,” “Red Flavor,” “Peek-A-Boo,” and finally, Red Velvet’s latest track “Power Up”!
Although he had helped out the group since 2014, he expressed his happiness at finally being able to meet the members. Wendy asked, “Now that you’ve choreographed Red Velvet’s new song, how do you feel about the new song?” Kyle responded positively and stated, “Choreographing it is so easy because it makes you want to dance.”
Finally, he left a short, final message for Red Velvet as he remarked, “Working with them for the brief amount of time that I’ve had to work with them, they’re so eager to learn and positive. I’ve worked with a lot of K-pop groups, and global superstars and artists, and Red Velvet is definitely one of my favorites.”
The members were ecstatic to hear his praises and thanked him sweetly for his words.

Kyle has also choreographed for NU’EST, Girls’ Generation, BLACKPINK, and countless other artists.
