Lee Ga Eun's Mother Writes About How Proud She Is Of Her Daughter Ahead Of "Produce 48" Finale
Lee Ga Eun’s mother penned a heartwarming message for her daughter ahead of the final episode of Mnet’s “Produce 48.”
She wrote, “My daughter, Ga Eun! You were always a kid who would never lean on anyone and be brave as you faced things alone when things got tough. Many years ago, when you made your first debut as a singer, something you’d wanted so desperately, you would always smile and reassure me even when you were struggling, and it hurt my heart to see you like that.
“Now, I hope you are able to live out the dreams you’ve wanted so badly through this show. When you first told me you’d be appearing on the show, I was filled with so much fear and so many concerns, but seeing you dance, sing, and smile happily on stage has made me very happy as well.
“Even if you don’t make it, even if there are people who dislike you for no real reason, you will always be my daughter who I am so proud of, and you will always be the most precious person in my life that I love. So, like always, just be yourself and conclude everything with that brave attitude of yours. I’ll be waiting for you at home with your favorite, a pot of kimchi stew that has lots of meat in it. I love you, my daughter!”
Lee Ga Eun first made her debut as a member of After School in 2012 and appeared as a trainee of Pledis Entertainment on “Produce 48” this year. The top 12 members who will make up the debut project group will be announced during the live finale on August 31 at 8 p.m. KST.
