Red Velvet Guards Top Spot With "Power Up"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2018, September Week 1
Red Velvet’s “Power Up” easily repeats as the No. 1 song on our chart this week! This song again swept all the music shows last week, and also topped several internet charts as well. Overall it is still far ahead of the competition. Congratulations again to Red Velvet!
MAMAMOO’s “Egotistic” barely held on to the No. 2 spot over our only new song in the top 10 this week.
Moving up 14 spots to No. 3 is rookie female group (G)I-DLE’s second hit song “Alone.” It is also their second straight top three hit to start their career. Written by member Soyeon, “Alone” is a house style dance song about the emotions of being alone after a breakup.
