BTS Thanks ARMY For No. 1 On Billboard 200 + Receives Congratulations From Office Of President Moon Jae In

BTS took to Twitter to thank their fans ARMY for reaching first place again on the Billboard 200 chart!

It was recently announced that BTS’s “Love Yourself: Answer” has taken No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States. After becoming the first Korean artist to ever take first place on the chart with their previous album “Love Yourself: Tear” in May, they’re now the only Korean artist to take No. 1 twice.

On September 3, BTS shared a message for their fans on Twitter. “It’s truly an honor to receive No. 1 on the [Billboard] 200 chart for the second time,” they wrote. “This is all thanks to you, and we’ll be grateful as we continue this festival. Thank you!!”

BTS also received a message of congratulations from the Office of South Korea’s President Moon Jae In! The message reads “Huge congratulations to BTS on topping the Billboard 200 for a second time!” It includes the hashtags “Eolssu it’s great” and “Hooray it’s great,” which are lyrics from the group’s latest hit song “IDOL.”

The group also received a letter of congratulations from President Moon Jae In when “Love Yourself: Tear” reached No. 1.

BTS is now heading to the United States to begin the international stops on their “Love Yourself” world tour, with their next shows being four nights of sold-out concerts in Los Angeles at the Staples Center.
