BTS Scores No. 11 On Billboard's Hot 100 With

BTS’s “IDOL” has achieved an impressive ranking on Billboard’s Hot 100!

On the Hot 100 chart for the week ending in September 8, “IDOL” takes the No. 11 spot. This is BTS’s second-highest ranking on the chart, after “Fake Love” debuted at No. 10 earlier this year.

“IDOL” also comes in at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart with 43,000 downloads sold during the week ending on August 30. “Fake Love” previously debuted at No. 1 with 29,000 downloads.

On the Streaming Songs chart, “IDOL” takes the No. 11 spot with 24.4 million first-week streams in the United States during the week ending on August 30.

BTS’s “IDOL” is the title track off their latest repackaged album “Love Yourself: Answer,” which also includes a version of the song that features Nicki Minaj. It was recently announced that the album has grabbed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, Billboard’s chart that ranks the most popular albums in the United States. In addition to being the first Korean artist to rise to the top of the chart, they’re now the first Korean artist to do it twice!

“IDOL” has been breaking records since its release, including earning the biggest 24-hour debut on YouTube in history. In addition, BTS’s “IDOL” made them the first Korean group to enter the Top 40 of the United Kingdom’s Official Singles Chart. Both the song and the album also took over iTunes charts all over the world.

The Hot 100’s chart manager Gary Trust has also confirmed via Twitter that BTS’s new songs “Euphoria” and “I’m Fine” made it on to the “Bubbling Under Hot 100” chart, which ranks the songs that sit just below the Hot 100. “Euphoria” takes No. 5 on the chart, and “I’m Fine” comes in at No. 7.

BTS is currently in the United States to get ready to begin the international stops on their “Love Yourself” world tour. On September 5, they’ll be performing the first of four sold-out shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Their U.S. stops also include a concert at Citi Field in New York City, making BTS the first Korean act to perform a solo stadium show in the United States, with all tickets completely sold within only minutes.

Billboard’s full charts for this week will be updated on September 5.

Congratulations to BTS and ARMY!
