BTS Receives 2 Nominations For 2018 E! People's Choice Awards

BTS has been nominated two times for the 2018 E! People’s Choice Awards!

The nominations for this year’s ceremony were announced on September 5 local time, with all awards to be determined through votes by the general public.

BTS was nominated for the Group of 2018 award, alongside Migos, Twenty One Pilots, Dan + Shay, Panic! At the Disco, Gorillaz, Imagine Dragons, 5 Seconds of Summer, Fall Out Boy, Little Big Town, Sugarland, and Maroon 5.

They also received a nomination for the Social Celebrity of 2018 award. Other nominees are Ellen DeGeneres, Chrissy Teigen, Lady Gaga, Ryan Reynolds, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Will Smith, Kim Kardashian West, Kylie Jenner, and Selena Gomez.

Fans worldwide can vote for their favorites, with voting possible through the website, on Facebook, and on Twitter. The Nominee Vote runs from September 5 to September 14. The five nominees with the most votes in each category will move on to the Finalist Vote, which will take place from September 24 to October 19.

This is the 44th year of the show, and the first year it is airing on the channel E! after previously being broadcast by CBS. The 2018 E! People’s Choice Awards airs on Sunday, November 11 at 9 p.m. EST.
