"Your Honor" Maintains First Place Lead In Viewership Ratings As "The Ghost Detective" Premieres
A new drama has premiered!
On September 5, KBS2’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Ghost Detective” began its run. The horror-thriller drama is about the highly skilled detective Lee Da Il (Choi Daniel) who hunts ghosts with the help of his assistant, the passionate detective Jung Yeo Wul (Park Eun Bin). As they encounter Sun Woo Hye (Lee Ji Ah), a woman shrouded in mystery, the crime-fighting pair gets entangled in a bizarre case.
According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere recorded viewership ratings of 3.7 percent and 4.4 percent, and the drama placed second in its time slot.
SBS’s “Your Honor” maintained its position in first place with an average of 5.9 percent and 7.3 percent nationwide in viewership for its September 5 broadcast. In these episodes, Han Kang Ho (Yoon Shi Yoon) and Song So Eun (Lee Yoo Young)’s relationship took a turn as they confessed their feelings for each other in harrowing circumstances.
Third in its time slot, MBC’s “Time” brought in ratings of 2.8 percent and 3.2 percent. In the September 5 broadcast, Seol Ji Hyun (Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun) and Cheon Soo Ho (Kim Jung Hyun) decide to marry in order to uncover the actual truth.
