Watch: EXO's Lay And Alan Walker Talk About Their Collab For "Sheep" Behind The Scenes

In a new video posted on September 7, producer and DJ Alan Walker took us behind the scenes of his collaboration with EXO’s Lay, remixing Lay’s solo track, “Sheep.”

Lay explains that the song is his way of reversing the derogatory meaning (“passive,” “mindless”) of the word “sheep” — sheep is also Lay’s zodiac sign. He said, “I want to use the song to show people the sheep can be strong and can be powerful.”

Alan Walker took the original track and put his own sound to it, something, he said, was very challenging, because “you need to feel like you’ve actually, kind of like, outdone the original. But at the same time both are just as good.”

Kristian Berg, the director of the music video, also talked about the concept for the new music video that was shot for the relift, and how they created a story about Lay on the night of a solar storm.
