H.O.T. Sells Out Tickets For First Concert In 17 Years

H.O.T. sold out their first concert in 17 years in an instant!

The group is set to have their first group concert in 17 years called “Forever High-five Of Teenagers” at the Jamsil Sports Complex, with each performance set to attract approximately 40,000 fans. Considering how long it has been since the group’s last concert and the status of the group as one of the biggest groups of K-pop’s first generation, ticketing was expected to be a bloodbath from the start.

The group was appearing high on portal site search rankings on September 7 and when tickets became available at 8 p.m. KST, people flooded Auction and Yes24, the two sites where tickets were being sold, crashing servers for a considerable amount of time. 80,000 tickets were sold out in an instant.

Salt Innovation, the production company behind the upcoming concert, announced, “It was difficult to reserve tickets as the servers crashed. We are planning to hold a second round of ticket reservations after resolving the situation around scalpers selling tickets.”

“Forever High-five Of Teenagers” will be held on October 13 and 14.
