Watch: Shin Hye Sun And Yang Se Jong Share Laughs And Kisses In Making-Of Video For "30 But 17"
A new making-of video has been released for SBS’s “30 but 17”!
The video began with the couple filming the scene where they get caught in the rain. They held up a foldable mat over their heads and made a run for the nearest playground.
Shin Hye Sun jokingly scolded the mat for not unfolding quickly during filming and made Yang Se Jong laugh. She then had a hard time folding it back up to reshoot the scene and became adorably frustrated once again.
Sitting at the playground to avoid the rain, Shin Hye Sun practiced her lines while Yang Se Jong watched. When she messed up her line, Yang Se Jong asked, “Do you want me to show you the script?” and helped her practice her lines.
On another day, the two co-stars filmed outdoors for the music festival scene. With their backs against one another, they sat in the sun and shared a pair of earphones while enjoying each other’s company.
The wind, however, kept blowing Yang Se Jong’s hair around. After they finished filming, Yang Se Jong said, “During the full shot, a cricket went in my ear so I removed it. It probably wasn’t caught on camera, right?” Turning to Shin Hye Sun, he joked, “Be careful. A cricket can go inside of your ear.”
At night, Shin Hye Sun and Yang Se Jong rehearsed for their much-awaited first kiss. Before filming, they practiced how they’ll hold hands and more in order to perfect their upcoming scene.
After confessing their feelings for one another, they shared three adorable kisses and successfully completed filming. Just then, the cast and crew surprised Shin Hye Sun with a cake for her birthday. Yang Se Jong held the cake while the crew sang “Happy Birthday” to the actress.
She made the crew laugh when she said, “[My wish is] viewership ratings of 15 percent!” before blowing out the candles.
“30 but 17” airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 10 p.m. KST. Watch the making-of video below.
