Watch: Jang Hyuk's New Drama "Bad Papa" Goes Back To The 90's In Retro-Style Trailer

MBC’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Bad Papa” has released a fun new teaser with a twist!

“Bad Papa” stars Jang Hyuk as an ex-boxer who decides to become a bad man in order to be a good father.

The new teaser has a TV commercial aesthetic from the 90’s, complete with fuzzy quality, brightly colored clothes, and cheesy smiles at the camera. The “ad” even ends with Jang Hyuk looking directly at the camera and saying, “The secret to being a cool guy and a cool dad is to watch ‘Bad Papa’ every week.”

However, the camera pulls back to reveal the reality behind Jang Hyuk’s character’s life, which is completely different from the happy home life on TV. His daughter leaves the room in a huff while Jang Hyuk eats jajangmyun alone in front of the TV.

“Bad Papa” premieres on October 1 at 10 p.m. KST. Check out the teaser below!
