Kim Kang Woo To Play A Sociopath In Joo Ji Hoon's Upcoming Drama

Kim Kang Woo will be taking on an intense new role in MBC’s “Item!”

On September 12, the drama announced that Kim Kang Woo was cast in the role of Jo Se Hwang, who will be in conflict with Joo Ji Hoon’s character. Jin Se Yeon has also been cast in the show.

“Item” is a fantasy blockbuster that tells the story of two people uncovering the secrets of everyday items with supernatural powers. The drama is an adaptation of a popular webtoon of the same name and Joo Ji Hoon’s first drama in three years.

Kim Kang Woo’s character is described as a sociopath who uses his wealth and power to collect the items with supernatural power and murders anyone who stands in his way.

Kim Kang Woo’s most recent drama was opposite Uee in “My Husband, Mr. Oh!” earlier this year.

“Item” is expected to premiere in January 2019.
