MOMOLAND's Agency Shares Updates On Nayun's Recovery And Confirms Her Return

MOMOLAND’s agency has shared news about Nayun’s health and plans for her schedule in the coming months.

On September 13, MLD Entertainment released an official statement saying, “Nayun, who previously halted all activities for treatments after being diagnosed with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), has finally improved in health and will rejoin the team.”

Previously in July, Nayun was diagnosed with the disorder during her activities for MOMOLAND’s fourth mini album “Fun to the World.” She took a hiatus from her group activities to focus on her health.

The full statement read, “Hello, this is MLD Entertainment. During her promotions in July, Nayun suffered from episodes of dizziness, and after being examined at the hospital, she was diagnosed with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). She halted all activities and gave her all towards recovering by concentrating on treatments.

“Due to Nayun’s strong desire to rejoin the MOMOLAND members and greet fans, after devoting herself to abundant rest and treatment, she was told by a medical specialist that she’d be able to promote again. Because her health has improved, she rejoined the group for their scheduled Japanese single album’s jacket photoshoot and music video filming. We inform you that she will rejoin MOMOLAND starting in October and resume Korean activities.

“Thank you to all the fans who supported Nayun during that period. We will do all that we can so Nayun can promote in good health. We ask for fans to support and give lots of love to MOMOLAND in the future as well. Thank you.”

MOMOLAND was recently invited to perform at the 2018 Rakuten Girls Award to be held at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Japan on September 16.
