Ji Soo, DIA's Jung Chaeyeon, and Jinyoung To Work Together On Romantic Coming-Of-Age Drama

Netflix’s “Because It’s My First Love” (literal title) has finalized its main cast!

The upcoming drama is a coming-of-age story that explores university students’ experiences with first love. The story revolves around a guy and a girl who are just friends, and the guy’s best friend who begins to fall for the girl.

Ji Soo, DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon, and Jinyoung are confirmed to make up the main cast. With their youthful and lively energy, they will demonstrate their skills as they act out a heart-fluttering romance.

Jung Hyun Jung of “Five Children” and “Discovery of Love” and Kim Min Seo of “Little Black Dress” participated in writing the script, while director Oh Jin Suk of “Yong Pal” and “Goddess of Marriage” will be directing the drama.

“Because It’s My First Love” is planned for eight episodes, and is set to be released sometime in 2019.
