BTS Stays Strong With

BTS’s “IDOL” repeats as our No. 1 song for the second week in a row! This song won on “Inkigayo,” “Music Bank,” and “Show Champion” last week. Overall, it scored even higher than last week. Congratulations again to BTS!

Red Velvet’s “Power Up” also remains at No. 2, but the gap between this song and “IDOL” has widened this week. Rounding out the top three is TWICE’s “Dance The Night Away,” moving back up four spots to No. 3.

There are two new songs in the top 10 this week, with the first one being a song by first generation boy band Shinhwa! Their latest hit “Kiss Me Like That” moves up 15 spots to No. 6. This song is the title track from Shinhwa’s special mini-album “HEART,” which celebrates their 20th anniversary in the music industry. It is a dance song with an acoustic sound and an addictive chorus. Renowned lyricist Kim Ina penned the lyrics, and the song is about the sparks between a man and a woman.

Moving up two spots to No. 9 is 10cm’s “Mattress.” This is a vintage folk style song highlighted by 10cm’s laid back vocals, with witty lyrics are about a couple on a new mattress which is supposed to fit only one person.
