Choi Ri Confirmed To Join Ji Soo's Upcoming Drama

Choi Ri will be joining Ji Soo in Netflix’s “Because It’s My First Love” (literal title).

The upcoming drama is a coming-of-age story that explores university students’ experiences with first love. The story revolves around a guy and a girl who are just friends, and the guy’s best friend who begins to fall for the girl.

Choi Ri will take the role of Oh Ga Rin, the sole daughter of a conglomerate CEO. She grew up with everything, yet her whole life has been controlled. Having a cheerful and lively personality, she is forced to run away from home, live at Ji Soo’s house, and undergo various incidents.

Choi Ri debuted in 2016 through the movie “Spirits’ Homecoming,” and her latest production was MBC’s drama “Come and Hug Me.”

“Because It’s My First Love” is planned for eight episodes, and is set to be released sometime in 2019. The other cast members are DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon and Jinyoung.
