Watch: Jang Hyuk Is Surrounded By Chaos In Action-Packed Teaser For "Bad Papa"

MBC’s “Bad Papa” has released a teaser!

“Bad Papa” is a new Monday-Tuesday drama that will star Jang Hyuk as Yoo Ji Chul, a man who becomes a bad person in order to be a good father to his children. A former boxing champion and national hero, Yoo Ji Chul ends up losing his family, fame, and fortune in a single morning after suffering a disgraceful defeat.

In the video, Jang Hyun enters a boxing stadium to loud cheers as he narrates, “I never thought about becoming an amazing hero to you people.” The mood drastically changes when the video shows Jang Hyuk, whose face is covered in dripping blood, grabbing at piles of money in a bus that soon explodes in fire. His hand trembles as he grabs at a blue pill and hesitatingly recites, “I just, just.”

The scene then shifts to Jang Hyuk and Ha Joon fighting in a boxing ring. After succeeding in knocking him out, Ha Joon smirks confidently. Next, Ha Joon and Son Yeo Eun share an umbrella, and Park Ji Bin sits in his car with his eyes shining brightly, as if he finds all of this humorous. Jang Hyuk then stumbles around after he takes the blue pill, the words “production of a new medicine” ringing in the background.

Finally, Jang Hyuk lies on the ground, his eyes rolling back as he defeatedly says, “I just wanted to be a normal father.”
