Male Idols To Appear On Upcoming Masked Dance Variety Show
Global K-pop channel 1theK will launch a web series “Dance War” on October.
“Dance War” is a dance variety show where eight male idols famous for dancing will compete against each other while wearing masks. Fans from all around the world can engage in the content creating process by voting. The charms of this show are being able to watch perfect group performances and individual dancing skills at the same time. The show will premiere on October 2, and will air for four weeks on official 1theK channels on YouTube, Facebook, KaKaoTV, Twitter, and Weibo. It will also be available on Korea’s representative music streaming website, Melon.
The competition process of “Dance War” is a tournament with four rounds. Eight candidates will be divided into two teams each round. They will perform group choreography under the same designated mission song. They will also be provided with time for a solo performance to show their individual talent and skills. Viewers will be able to guess who the candidates are based on these solo performance periods. Fans can vote for both their favorite team and their favorite individual candidate on 1theK official channels, Melon, and the search engine Daum.
The production team of “Dance War” revealed, “Our program is different from other survival audition shows. We do not provide any information on our candidates. Real idols who are currently actively working will compete only with their dance skills as the weapon. We are expecting great anticipation from K-pop lovers all around the world.
