MXM Shares What INFINITE Means To Them, 1st Place Promise, And More

MXM recently made an appearance on the radio show EBS’s “Midnight Black,” which is hosted by INFINITE’s Sungjong.

Sungjong warmly welcomed the duo and said he enjoyed watching the performance of INFINITE’s “Be Mine” on the audition program “Produce 101 Season 2.” Lim Young Min responded, “Actually, I have a long relationship with INFINITE. I had already performed INFINITE’s song in high school. The first celebrity I ever greeted was you, and you were so nice to me that I was incredibly thankful as a rookie.”

When asked what they will do for fans if they win No. 1 on music shows, Kim Dong Hyun answered, “I want to perform wearing the head of a mascot costume.” They also talked about their vacation plans, saying, “Because of our busy schedule, we couldn’t go on vacation.” Lim Young Min chose Hawaii as a vacation spot while Kim Dong Hyun said, “I want to go on a backpacking trip alone to a location that is not well known to others.”

MXM mentioned their overseas fans, saying, “We had fan meetings in many countries, such as Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and more. It’s always fun and joyful to meet fans. We didn’t have enough time to go overseas a lot, but we’ll do our best to go see [our fans] more.” Lim Young Min added, “I rode the airplane for the first time while going to an overseas fan meeting. I’m always excited about what kind of in-flight meal will come out.”

Sungjong asked the duo what they thought about “black emotions,” which is the official question of his radio show. MXM replied, “It’s a time that you can have alone. It’s when you can organize the things that happened today and think about the future. Thanks to these times, the current MXM seems to exist.”
