DinDin Shares How He Ended Up Working On Chuseok

DinDin appeared on MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon” on September 24, which happened to be Chuseok, a major Korean holiday.

DinDin was greatly pleased to be a guest on the radio show, and he revealed his reason for coming out on Chuseok, saying, “Finally, I came out as an official guest. Recently, Sunmi was on here. I thought I couldn’t compete with her since she made such a hot topic [with her appearance].”

The rapper-turned-entertainer talked about what his family eats during Chuseok. He commented, “There’s nothing more added to [the table] for Chuseok. We always eat as if it’s the holidays. Maybe there’s more food. The table is great.”

DinDin also talked about how his friends and families react whenever he is on the real-time search rankings. He said, “Whenever I’m No. 1 on the real-time search rankings, my friends and family call me. When I won an entertainment award and became No. 1 on the search rankings on January 1, Lee Hyun Do called me and cursed as he accused, ‘What did you do?’ Maybe it’s because I have a sleazy image, but I actually live a straight and narrow life. I get surprised when I see my name on the search rankings as well.”

Kim Shin Young added, “DinDin probably looks easy-going because of his variety show image, but he has a lot of affection for music, and his skills are very strong.”
