Cube Entertainment Addresses Rumors Of Wanna One’s Lai Kuanlin Signing With A Chinese Agency
Cube Entertainment has issued a statement regarding rumors about Lai Kuanlin possibly signing with a Chinese entertainment agency.
On September 27, a Taiwanese media outlet reported that Lai Kuanlin, originally from Taiwan, had signed with famous Chinese producer Guo Qing Ma, who has managed upcoming young stars such as Jackson Yee and Liu Haoran. The news rapidly spread throughout social media in China.
According to the report, Guo Qing Ma personally sent messages to his associates, which were then was captured and spread through social media. He reportedly said, “I have started managing Wanna One’s Lai Kuanlin. I am introducing myself on behalf of him and hope we can work together in the near future.”
In response, Cube Entertainment issued an official statement.
The agency stated, “Currently, Cube Entertainment is the managing agency in China for PENTAGON’s Yanan and (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua and Yuqi. Regarding Lai Kuanlin’s management in China and future activities after Wanna One, nothing has been decided since we will discuss that after his commitment is over.”
With his contract with Wanna One ending soon, a lot of fans are wondering what Lai Kuanlin’s activities will look like in the future and especially as it relates to China.
