On the September 30 broadcast of MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer,” “Korean Fan Dance Girl” faced off against “Samulnori Boy” in the first round.

They took the stage with a heartfelt cover of Park Jung Hyun and Im Jae Bum’s “Scars Deeper than Love,” and showcased their refreshing vocal colors.

“Korean Fan Dance Girl” also demonstrated just how much “swag” she could dance with, which lead several of the panelists to guess that she is an idol.

With 62 points to her 37 points, “Samulnori Boy” won and moved on to the next round.

“Korean Fan Dance Girl” subsequently had to unmask herself. While singing Younha’s “Comet,” she revealed she was none other than GFRIEND’s SinB!

After introducing herself, SinB answered questions and commented, “There are a lot of people who think I am the oldest because of how mature I look, but I’m one of the youngest. I hope people will know me as [one of] GFRIEND’s youngest members.”

On her performance, SinB expressed, “It feels cathartic. I didn’t do well, but I want to praise myself on singing a whole song by myself. My dad will often ask if I’m practicing my singing. I wanted to show my parents that I’m not that bad at singing.”

SinB also shared additional photos on GFRIEND’s Twitter account and asked if fans were fooled. She also thanked them for their support.

“The King of Mask Singer” airs every Sunday at 4:50 p.m. KST.
