Jung Woo In Talks To Star In New Film

Actor Jung Woo is currently in talks to star in “Hot Blood.”

On October 5, a source from Jung Woo’s agency FNC Entertainment stated, “After receiving an offer to star in ‘Hot Blood,’ Jung Woo is currently discussing the matter.”

Screenplay writer Chun Myung Gwan, who has projects such as “A Great Chinese Restaurant,” “The Man Next Door,” “Boomerang Family,” and other works under his name, will be making his directing debut through “Hot Blood.” This is an adaptation of Han Moo Sook Literary Award winner Kim Eon Soo’s full-length novel.

Jung Woo has been offered the role of Hee Soo, a former-boxer and manager of a hotel. He will be at the beck and call of his good-for-nothing boss Song Young Gam.

If Jung Woo accepts this role, it will be an announcement of his latest project in eight months, following the premiere of “Heung-boo: The Revolutionist.”
