6 Things We Loved & 1 Thing We Hated About "Where Stars Land" Episodes 3 And 4
“Where Stars Land” is the new SBS K-drama that is winning viewers’ hearts for its charming cast and enchanting storyline. With the budding romance and chemistry between Lee Je Hoon and Chae Soo Bin, there’s a lot to look forward to as a result of this past week’s episodes. Here’s a look at six things we loved and one thing we hated about episodes 3 and 4 of “Where Stars Land.”
1. LOVED: The “dust robot”
It’s a minor part, I know, but it’s just adorable how the robot kept following Lee Soo Yeon (Lee Je Hoon) around the airport repeatedly saying, “Dust.”
And how it brought the two leads together:
2. LOVED: The skinship between Lee Je Hoon and Chae Soo Bin
I love seeing Han Yeo Reum’s (Chae Soo Bin) straight-forward character and how much she catches Soo Yeon off guard. Her subtle touches makes him weak in the knees and we’re totally into it.
More of this, please! These two are adorable together!
3. LOVED: The OST so far!
The haunting vocals of Chungha and other songs that have made appearances throughout the first few episodes are so dreamy and romantic – perfectly suiting the drama’s ambience. I’m looking forward to the other tracks dropping!
4. LOVED: “I decided that I wouldn’t let anyone or anything move my heart. Until…”
This particular part where Soo Yeon recognizes his feelings for Han Yeo Reum gave me butterflies. And it was pretty hilarious.
5. LOVED (and loving): Rowoon as the second male lead
Rowoon playing Go Eun Seob has been an adorable touch to the cast of the series. And seeing him as the second lead who is obviously smitten with his friend Yeo Reum is giving us some serious butterflies! Though I’m not looking forward to seeing how much he falls for Yeo Reum while she falls for Soo Yeon!
Que the heartbreak.
6. HATED: How Lee Dong Gun’s character cares so much about Lee Je Hoon’s arm
In this past week’s episodes, we find out that Seo In Woo (Lee Dong Gun) knew Soo Yeon in the past and that he knows all about the accident. I’m also getting the sense that he doesn’t really have Soo Yeon’s best interest at heart and/or is trying to find out his secret about his arm.
I’m not really understanding or think it’s that big of a deal that Soo Yeon has a bionic arm and leg. Is it really such a big secret? It’s not like he’s an alien or is using his super strength for evil. Nonetheless, I’m hoping In Woo stays out of Soo Yeon’s way and doesn’t cause much trouble. We really don’t need a villain in this story!
7. LOVED: The boundaries metaphor
There was an intense, but heartwarming storyline in the latest episode involving a man who was unable to be admitted into Seoul to see his wife give birth to their baby. With the anger of a border preventing this family from being together and from the father seeing his daughter for the first time, it raised the question of Soo Yeon’s feelings for Yeo Reum and how scared he is to put himself out there.
“And also, the boundary between hearts. The countless boundaries that are created like that. Where am I standing on that boundary right now?”
These two! I’m looking forward to seeing their relationship blossom!
