Jang Seung Jo is confirmed to appear on Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum’s drama, “Encounter”!
On October 25, Jang Seung Jo’s agency Neos Entertainment revealed that Jang Seung Jo confirmed his appearance in tvN’s “Encounter” and will start filming for the drama soon.

Jang Seung Jo may be joining appearing in tvN’s “Encounter” (formally known as “Boyfriend”)!
“Encounter” will explore the tale of Cha Soo Hyun (Song Hye Kyo), the daughter of a politician and ex-wife of a chaebol who has never been able to live her life as she pleases, and what happens when she meets, by chance, Kim Jin Hyuk (Park Bo Gum), an innocent young man who cherishes and happily enjoys his ordinary lifestyle.
Jang Seung Jo was reported to be taking on the role of Jung Woo Seok, Cha Soo Hyun’s ex-husband and heir to a major conglomerate.
On October 10, a source from his agency Neos Entertainment clarified, “Jang Seung Jo has received an offer to play the role of Song Hye Kyo’s ex-husband in tvN’s new drama ‘Encounter.’ This is not finalized. He is positively considering it.”
Jang Seung Jo most recently appeared in tvN’s “Familiar Wife,” where he displayed exceptional chemistry with Han Ji Min.
