Uee And Lee Jang Woo's "My Only One" Reaches Highest Viewership Ratings Yet
KBS 2TV’s weekend drama “My Only One” surpassed 30 percent in viewership ratings.
The viewership ratings for “My Only One” steadily increased due to the drama’s interesting plot and the actors’ good acting. According to Nielson Korea, the viewership ratings for the October 13 broadcast of episode 17 reached 21.6 percent, and episode 18 reached 25.9 percent. The October 14 broadcast of episode 19 reached 26.1 percent, and episode 20 reached 30.1 percent.
“My Only One” was able to surpass 30 percent in viewership ratings in just five weeks, which is a faster record than the channel’s previous drama, “Marry Me Now.” According to the Korea Brand Reputation Lab’s analysis, “My Only One” took first place in October drama reputation rankings.
Viewers’ curiosity towards the drama increased after the plot started to mainly focus on Uee and Lee Jang Woo’s romance. Although Lee Jang Woo tried to forget about his feelings towards Uee by going on a set-up date with someone else, his emotions became stronger than ever. He even tried talking to himself, “Why does she matter to you? Are you crazy?” However, he could not stop his feelings getting deeper.
The production team revealed, “One of the key points of this drama is Uee and Lee Jang Woo’s romance. Their relationship started out as bad first impressions to both of them, but they became fond of each other. The sympathy towards each other will turn into love. Please look forward to ‘My Only One,’ as we are in the early stages of their relationship.”
The drama airs every Saturday and Sunday at 7:55 p.m. KST. You can also check out “My Only One” on Viki below!
