Fantagio Clarifies Reports Of Wanna One's Ong Seong Woo Being Cast In New School Drama

Wanna One’s Ong Seong Woo may be taking a step towards acting.

On October 19, according to various industry sources, Ong Seong Woo was reportedly cast as the male lead for upcoming drama “Eighteen” (working title). The school drama is slated to air next July, with the female lead role still in the process of casting.

In response to the reports, a source from his agency Fantagio Entertainment stated, “Ong Seong Woo is currently focusing on his Wanna One activities. Beyond that, nothing has been confirmed.”

If confirmed, Ong Seong Woo’s appearance in the drama will be after the conclusion of his promotions as a member of Wanna One.
