YG Entertainment Takes Further Legal Steps Against Malicious Commenters

YG Entertainment has continued to take legal action to protect their artists.

On October 19, YG Entertainment stated, “On October 18, we submitted a bill of indictment against those spreading falsehood and malicious commenters in the online community for spreading false rumors and defamation. There will be no favorable arrangements.” A Bill of Indictment is a formal document which accuses someone of a criminal act.

In February, Yang Hyun Suk revealed that the agency would be taking legal action against malicious commenters, and asked that fans send evidence. In August, the company shared an update on their progress, and added that it had submitted various reports, complains, and written accusations.
