Watch: Lee Joon Gi Proves Friendship With IU And Sharp Wit In Pre-Released "Ask Us Anything" Clip

Lee Joon Gi has shown that he is a great friend to IU and that he’s full of wit in a pre-released clip of his upcoming appearance in “Ask Us Anything.”

The two previously starred in “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” togethe  and have remained good friends since. As previously revealed, Lee Joon Gi talked about how he made his decision to appear on the show at IU’s request. IU added, “He’s not the kind of person to do variety shows. It’s not like he has something to promote right now either. I was just grasping at straws and asked him, but he said okay. I was so touched.”

Kang Ho Dong reasoned that Lee Joon Gi’s decision to appear on the show was either because of himself or because of IU, explaining that the actor had become his fan when he appeared on “Knee Drop Guru.” He then asked Lee Joon Gi if he had missed him since his appearance on the talk show. Lee Joon Gi cleverly answered that he hadn’t by using one of Kang Ho Dong’s catchphrases, making everyone burst into laughter.

“Ask Us Anything” starring IU and Lee Joon Gi airs on October 20 at 9 p.m. KST.
