MeloMance's Agency Responds To Rumors Of Disbandment
MeloMance’s agency has clarified disbandment rumors.
On October 21, MeloMance performed at the Grand Mint Festival, and Jung Dong Hwan said to the audience, “With today as the last, MeloMance will not perform for awhile.”
Kim Min Seok also posted on Instagram afterwards, “I tried to make today’s performance as fun as possible because we said today is our last MeloMance performance.” This post was edited soon afterwards.
Following these comments, the duo was swept up in disbandment rumors.
In response, their agency Mint Paper clarified, “It was their last festival performance this year, and the words were said because they are not sure when they will be able to greet fans because of military enlistment, but it seems like their words were blown out of proportion.”
Mint Paper explained that Kim Min Seok is preparing for his enlistment but has not received his draft notice yet. The agency also assured that although there are no more performance plans for the rest of the year, there are OST songs and other tracks that will be released.
