BTS’s RM soars to new heights with “mono.”

Fans had only two days to get ready for the BTS leader’s new “playlist,” after he surprised with the official announcement of its release on Sunday. On October 23 at midnight KST, RM dropped his seven new solo tracks under the title of the playlist “mono.” along with a music video for the song “Forever Rain.”

The release has an impressive lineup of featuring artists, including the English electronic music duo HONNE; Korean singer eAeon, a friend of RM’s and a member of the indie duo Mot; and Nell, one of Korea’s biggest indie rock bands.

RM debuted as the leader of BTS in 2013, and went on to release his first solo mixtape “RM” in 2015. While gaining recognition for his work with the group, RM has also been releasing many other projects since then, such as his collaborations with international acts including Fall Out Boy and Wale.
