Wanna One Member Ong Seong Woo's Agency Takes Legal Action Against Malicious Commenters

Fantagio is taking legal action against Ong Seong Woo’s malicious commenters.

On October 23, Fantagio stated, “We filed complaints on October 12 and October 23 to press charges against commenters who insulted or slandered our agency’s artist Ong Seong Woo.”

The agency made a decision to no longer tolerate the acts of malicious commenters and take legal action because the false information, personal attacks, and insults regarding Ong Seong Woo were spreading quickly to an intolerable point. The agency emphasized that there has been great damage to the artist, and thus there will be no lenience.

Previously, Fantagio signed a contract with Gangnam LLP’s lawyer Go Seung Woo. The agency looked over 4,000 comments and posts to select the people with clear evidence of damaging Ong Seong Woo’s rights and honor.

Fantagio added, “Not only our artist but also the fans who support and love him were hurt by all the malicious comments and posts. Starting with Ong Seong Woo, we will closely cooperate with the law firm that will handle this issue and protect our agency’s artists. We will continue to take legal action against malicious commenters.”
