Lee Sung Kyung Shares Candid Thoughts On Acting And Its Difficulties
In a recent pictorial and interview for the November issue of Dazed & Confused, Lee Sung Kyung spoke truthfully about her acting career.
After filming the drama “About Time” and a new film, Lee Sung Kyung took a break and later attended the Saint Laurent show at Paris Fashion Week in September. The magazine took to reproduce her chic all-black look during the event later in Seoul.
The clothes that Lee Sung Kyung wore in her pictorial were from the Saint Laurent Spring/Summer collection for 2019 and showcased for the first time in Korea. According to Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello, the collection is one that women and men alike can freely enjoy.
In the interview that followed the photo shoot, Lee Sung Kyung was asked about acting. She replied, “I’m still lacking. I think endlessly about the character, the message trying to be portrayed, and how [that message] is going to be engraved into the project. If you want to make a great work, you need to be a good actor, and wanting to become a good actor is to eventually make amazing works.”
She continued, “But I’m so grateful that I’m able to have these thoughts while acting. I’m happy to have these processes in my thinking.”
