BLACKPINK's "BOOMBAYAH" Becomes Their 3rd MV To Reach 400 Million Views

BLACKPINK has reached a new milestone with their music video for “BOOMBAYAH”!

On October 23 at approximately 9:05 p.m. KST, the music video for “BOOMBAYAH” reached 400 million views on YouTube. The music video was first released on August 8, 2016, meaning that it took approximately two years, two months and fifteen days for the music video to surpass the impressive benchmark.

This is BLACKPINK’s third music video to hit 400 million views, following “As If It’s Your Last” and “DDU DU DDU DU.” The latter currently holds the record for the fastest Korean group music video to reach the milestone, something they achieved in just 112 days.

YG Entertainment celebrated the milestone with a special poster for BLACKPINK.
