Kim Young Kwang And Jin Ki Joo Reportedly In Talks For Upcoming SBS Drama

Kim Young Kwang and Jin Ki Joo are in talks for SBS’s upcoming drama.

On October 24, a source from the SBS drama team revealed, “Kim Young Kwang and Jin Ki Joo will play the male and female lead of ‘How to Train Your Blind Boss’ (literal translation).”

Kim Young Kwang’s agency Wide-S Company revealed, “It is true that Kim Young Kwang was offered the lead role of ‘How to Train Your Blind Boss,’ but final decisions are yet to be made. It is one of the many roles that Kim Young Kwang was offered.”

“How to Train Your Blind Boss” will tell the story of a cold-hearted man finding his true identity and finally starting to properly respect people after losing his sight. The drama will also focus on the romance between this man who doesn’t even respect his parents and his hot-tempered secretary who falls in love with him while deceiving him.

If he accepts the offer, Kim Young Kwang will play Do Min Yik, the chief of a company called TT Mobile Media. Do Min Yik is described as a needy and cranky character. There is only one place that he goes without his secretary, and that is the restroom. His hands and feet seem like they are only there for display, and the only part of his body that he uses is his spitfire mouth, which is to call out for his secretary.

Jin Ki Joo is in talks to play Do Min Yik’s secretary Jung Gal Hee. Words like lively, bright, and brave perfectly fit her. However, since she’s just a mere secretary, she always acts in a passive, calm, cool, and gentle way. Thus, nobody knows what she is actually thinking inside.

“How to Train Your Blind Boss” is written by Kim Ah Jung, who wrote “Divorce Lawyer in Love,” and produced by Lee Kwang Young, who directed “Entertainer” and “Judge vs. Judge.”

The drama is scheduled to premiere in April 2019.
