Kim Min Guk From "Dad! Where Are We Going?" Shows His Growth As A Teenager

Kim Min Guk, known for his appearance on the family variety show “Dad! Where Are We Going?” with father Kim Sung Joo, recently showed off his recent growth on his social media page.

Earlier this month, he celebrated his birthday by writing, “They say it’s my birthday. It’s a day that comes around every year but it feels new every time. They say that if you look at life in the long shot, it’s a comedy. I wish I could always see it that way… P.S. If you write me some small happy birthday messages, I will read them happily before going to bed.”

Later, he would write, “A lot of people are saying that I’m emo but I’ve always been this way. I read all your messages last night. Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday.” Many of his other posts run along the same theme, using filters and costume masks and uploading interesting captions.

His father, Kim Sung Joo, went on a Mnet variety program in August and said, “My son is going through puberty right now. I have to be careful when I talk to him, and once he closes the door to his room, he takes forever to come back out.”

Kim Min Guk, who is now in middle school, was on “Dad! Where Are We Going?” in 2014 at the age of 10.
