NCT's Lucas And Weki Meki's Kim Doyeon Use Their Youth And Energy To Thrive On "Law Of The Jungle"

NCT’s Lucas and Weki Meki’s Kim Doyeon impressed the cast during their first day in the jungle.

On October 26, the two idols and Boom were the newest additions to the jungles of Sri Lanka on SBS’s “Law of the Jungle.”

In her interview, Kim Doyeon said, “I have leadership tendencies. I ran for school president and was the cheerleading captain in high school. I will be in charge of [being] the happy virus.” She showed her cheerleading in front of the members.

Lucas introduced himself in the interview saying, “I’m 20-year-old Lucas from China. I’m full of ambition. I’ll catch bugs, mosquitoes are okay, and I’m not scared of ghosts.”

The new members met Kim Byung Man and the other members. Lucas confidently stated, “If you need something later, just shout, ‘Help me Lucas!’ and I’ll run over.” On their way to explore their island, Kim Doyeon asked Lucas, “Should we run?” and they ran along the water. Watching them, the other members commented, “Do you want to make a bet? How long do you think they’ll last? They’ll last a while since they’re young.”

Boom, Kim Doyeon, Lucas, and Don Spike found sea cucumbers and a giant clam while exploring the beach. They victoriously returned to the camp with plenty of food for dinner, but Kim Doyeon made a sad face when they had to throw out the sea cucumber.

The members then split up in team teams to look for fruit and to make a house. Kim Byung Man started to create a shelter so that the members would be able to sleep in the red ant-infested area of the jungle.

Lucas, Kim Sung Soo, Moon Gabi, and Kangnam looked for fruit and struggled to pick coconuts off of a tree. The NCT member earned praise for his fast and efficient way of working.

Back at the camp, Don Spike and Kim Doyeon prepared the clam for dinner. When it came time to make a fire, Kim Doyeon took out a fire stick from her backpack and joined the others. She sat in front of the pit and smiled as she created sparks to make a fire.

“Yes, yes yes!” shouted Kim Doyeon before succeeding at making a fire in just 40 seconds. Kangnam commented, “I think that was the shortest time ever. She’s faster than Kim Byung Man,” and Kim Doyeon replied, “This is fun. Should I make another one here?”

Everyone gathered around the fire to eat clam soup for dinner that was made by Don Spike. Afterward, they checked out the house that Kim Byung Man built on the water and expressed their admiration for the result of his hard work. Kim Byung Man, Kangnam, Kim Sung Soo, Don Spike, and Boom also went night fishing, but had difficulty seeing anything in the muddy water.
