3 Things To Look Forward To In

There are three things to look out for before you start watching tvN’s “Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter“! Check out the three things below.

The first thing to check out is the background story of the fairy and the woodcutter. The drama “Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter” is based on a Korean traditional tale called “The Fairy and the Woodcutter.” The drama added its own imagination to the familiar tale and created a unique and refreshing new story. The stories from the original tale such as the real reason why the fairy lost her robe and the secret of the fairy pool will be revealed in the drama.

The second thing to look out for is the fairy’s real husband. In the original tale, the fairy regains her robe, leaves her husband, and goes back to heaven. However, in the drama, the fairy Sun Ock Nam’s (played by Moon Chae Won and Go Doo Shim) husband passes away before she finds her robe. Sun Ock Nam waits for her husband to reincarnate for 699 years, and finally encounters two husband candidates Jung Yi Hyun (played by Yoon Hyun Min) and Kim Geum (Seo Ji Hoon). As her husband radar is reactivated, viewers can also be curious towards who the real husband is between the two men with very opposite charms.

The last thing to look forward to is the strong cast lineup. From the lead actors Moon Chae Won, Yoon Hyun Min, and Seo Ji Hoon to supporting actors like Ahn Young Mi and gugudan’s Mina, the cast members show perfect synchronization with the original webtoon’s characters. Viewers can expect to feel the same touching story and experience the same fun of the webtoon while watching the drama.

tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama, “Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter” will premiere after the finale of “100 Days My Prince.” It is scheduled to air on November 5, 9:30 p.m, and it will also be available on Viki soon!
