IZ*ONE's Song Deemed Unfit For Broadcast

IZ*ONE’s song, “You’re In Love, Right?” (Korean full title: 반해버리잖아? (好きになっちゃうだろう?) (IZ*ONE ver.)) was deemed unfit for broadcast by KBS and SBS.

On November 1, a source from SBS stated, “The lyrics for IZ*ONE’s song, ‘You’re In Love, Right?” is all in Japanese. Our internal review regulations state that strong Japanese style cannot be broadcast. Thus we deemed the song unfit for broadcast on our channel.”

Previously on October 30, KBS also deemed the song unfit for broadcast. The channel revealed, “The song violated our broadcasting regulations of a part of the lyrics or all of the lyrics being Japanese.”

“You’re In Love, Right?” is one of the songs in IZ*ONE’s debut album. It was composed by Hirotaka Hayakawa and the lyrics were written by AKB48’s producer, Yasushi Yakimoto.
